The text archive at the Klaverens Hus contains both prints and manuscripts that have the function of sources to our keyboard instrument history.
Anton Almquist (1864-1949), four scrapbooks about the Östlind & Almquist Piano and Reed Organ Factory 1890-1938.
J.O. Baumgardt Piano Factory, Linköping, documents on the production, one journeyman’s book that once belonged to Otto Fredrik Jarl (b. 1834) and copies of Johan Otto Baumgardt’s oldest notebooks, one dated 13th March 1872, both with the function of sales books (number books).
Documents on the Herrljunga piano and reed organ production, among others the Bergling piano factory files and parts of the business correspondence with attached keyboard drawings of the Anders Sjögren keyboard workshop (1940s).
The S. Ljungqvist Reed Organ Factory in Vänersborg (1899-1915) and Landvetter (1915-1945), for example the order-book 1915-1945, account books, catalogues and price lists together with the story of the Ljungqvist family.
The J.P. Nyström Piano and Reed Organ Factory, 2 scrapbooks 1924-1939, documents on jubilees 1925-1950.
