I was surprised and shocked to hear that Klaverens Hus was to lose its current funding.

 

This important collection and the related activities were brought to our attention last year at our international gathering and we were impressed by the fact that its significance, not only to the community but also to the nation, was recognised by this financial support.

 

We recognised immediately the wider importance of the Klaverens Hus to Europe and the world generally.

 

It would be matter of great shame if this cultural asset were to be lost and we urge you most strongly to counter any decision to withdraw funding and hope further that you would encourage any initiatives to ensure its continued existence.
